I am in search of information on Jane D'Orset, wife of Walter Hodge (said to be a ship's captain who died at sea)
Jane & Walter were married at Renfrew, Greenock in Dec 1847. She may have been born at Hedgerley in 1825 as Jane Dorsett, although I have not verified this as yet.
What I would like to know is who her parents were and whether or not Jane came to Australia. If she did where is she buried ?
