A page copied from old Bible records I saw in Hickman Co TN Library in 2003states:"Coleman, Enos, born 1796 in NC, married Mary[Polly] Harrington 1815. Coleman, Rachel, born 1798 in NC, married Richard Lancaster 1817, died after 27 March, 1877. Coleman, Youngs Levi, born 6 July, 1804 in Ashe County, NC, married Lucy Kate White 10 Aug, 1828 in Liberty, TX; died 4 May,1881 near Tuxpan, Mexico. An added note said,The above three Coleman records were furnished me by a descendant of David Coleman, father of Enos, Rachel,and Youngs Levi.David's wife was a Miss Hendrix of NC., she may have died before David came to Hickman County about 1810. His second wife is thought to be Sarah Lancaster." (No identification as to who wrote this note)
Enos was in Hickman Co by1815 when he married Mary Harrington, dau of Philemon and Frances Harmon Harrington. Their children(what appears to be 3sets of twins. DOBs John&Elizabeth1815,Zill1819,Ursala1820,Ephraim1823,Caldonia1825,Alexander&JamesW.1827(James is my grgr)Emeline&Caroline1829. Enos was on 1820&1830 Hickman Co census.Reports say he died by 1831.
David was on1800 census Ashe Co(formerlyWilkes)NC, Morgan District and 1830 Hickman Co census.His parents were Sarah Morphew and Youngs Coleman.

Young(s)Coleman in Capt. Vannoy's District. The county was divided into militia districts. According to the map in the book Capt Vannoy's was District # 3 in the northwest part of the county. The household included 1 white male aged 21-60, 2white males under 21and/or over 60 and, 6 white females all ages.

Greer, Barnet Owen, Jesse Counsel, Valentine Rees, Aaron England, John Ayres, Joseph Moss, Daniel Ayres, Jury view road from Deep Gap at head Stoney Fork to Williams Old place on New River.
From "Wilkes County, North Carolina, Will Abstracts, Book One (1778-1799)"27 April 1790 ADMINISTRATION BOND Sarah Coleman 200 pounds as admrx estate Youngs Coleman, decd; Robert Ayers, bondsman pg 28, July Term 1790 INVENTORY & SALE ESTATE Youngs Coleman, decd by Sarah Coleman, Execrx; (Purchasers): Sale (Salley,Sarah) Coleman, Jacob Morse, William Miller, James Murpehy, Daniel Akers, David Coleman, Jonathan Coleman, Silis Murpehy, Nathan Horton, Joseph Morse, Aaron England, Henry Chambers, William Vest, Luane Brown, Benjamin Dudger, Jordon Councill, John Whitton, Joseph Ayers, Wm. Miller,Junr., Ezekiel England."
Youngs Coleman's parents were Rachel Youngs and William Coleman from NY.
The 2 "Murpehy's" listed were Morphew's,Sarah's brothers.Their parents were James Morphew and Mary Burk.
