I am engaged in research on early Philadelphia furniture and have discovered several references to a Joseph Colman doing business in Philadelphia in the 1720s.
I would be most appreciative of any information regarding this individual (dates, profession, documentation of the period)and those with whom he dealt, including: John Head, a joiner.
Naturally, any info on furniture of that period would also be helpful.
