Lillian K. Childress Wagner, 75, entered into eternal peace and rest Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Wellington Place of Colonial Heights in Kingsport, Sullivan Co TN. She was born April 28, 1928, in Russell Co VA, and lived most of her life in Bristol. She was a graduate of Blountville High School, a former employee of Burlington Mills, Monroe Calculating, Bristol Virginia Utilities and Central Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Reynolds Memorial United Methodist Church serving on the board, Sunday School teacher and loved working with the children. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Minnie Fields Childress, Sr.; her first husband, Roy Stigall; her second husband, Mark Ewing Wagner; and a brother, Ernest Childress, Jr. Survivors include one son, Bob Stigall; step-son, Steve Wagner and wife, Maria; one sister, Beulah Keys and husband, Max of Blountville, TN; four nephews, Jonathan Keys and wife, Andrea, Greg Keys and wife, Debra; Joe Keys and wife, Carla and Eric Childress and wife, Traci; one niece, Becky Childress; and several great nieces and great nephews. The family wishes to express their thanks to her extended family at Wellington Place and Amedisys Hospice Care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, 207 N.
