Birth, marriage, and death records for the Childers' family may be found in The Registers of the Parish Church of Leeds, ed. George Denison Lumb, vols 1 & 3 of the Thoresby Society--vol 1. published at Leeds in 1891, volume 2, published in 1895. Here's a link to this publication in the catalog of the Library of Virginia: http://ajax.lva.lib.va.us/F/7YMVEV7FFYYHB7U8NFV2TSLGA198TD78KXKX1RV1KPY1B56D1B-37545?func=full-set-set&set_number=005136&set_entry=000010&format=999 Children of Ralph, father or Richard, and Richard, father of Abraham, both of whom lived at Hunslett, are listed. Ralph was buried 17 July 1592; the widow Childers was buried 6 March 1605/6. Most of this information is also available at Family Search. Be sure to use only records extracted from the Register of the Parish Church at Leeds and not those submitted by individual researchers. The appearance of the names Abraham and Philemon in both Yorkshire and Henrico in combination with the rarity of the surname provides clear evidence if not actual proof of the link between the Virginia and English families.
