I'm searching for any info on the Childers family in Western NC (Burke or Catawba Co) My ggrandmother was Roxana Childers, b. 1853. Her parents were John Childers, b. 1826 and died sometime after 1860, probably in the Civil War. Her mothers name was Rebecca. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
