Hi, MaryJean,

I have a couple of questions about your post.
Was John's wife, Lucresia EDMONDSON his first or second wife? I thought John b. 1759 married Elizabth LINDSAY. Do you know which one was the mother of his children?

Also, is Elizabeth SANDIDIGE, (Kesia Carter's mother) the child of John SANDIDGE and Kezia GATEWOOD?

To confuse things even further...I thought that Creed and Mary Ann Childers were the children of Abraham Childers and his wife "Lucy". This Abraham died about 1763. I got this from Abraham's will, but as you know, with all those Abrahams it does get rather confusing.

The Abraham Childers who married Elizabeth CANNON, I thought was born in 1677, so I thought it unlikely that he died in 1763, but I could be wrong. Was Elizabth dead by then, because the will I read, which included Creed, listed a wife "Lucy."

Hope I didn't muddle you up too much, and I welcome your insight!
