Hi, Winnie,
We may have corresponded before. I descend from Richard CHILDRESS born 1790(married Nancy Owings), and have been going crazy trying to find his parents.

I have seen the name, especially for John, spelled CHILDERS. Sometimes CHILDRES with one "S."

Sincerely,
Sarah Childress Ekern
