Frances Strunk was born in 1832 (possibly as late as 1839 due to conflicting records). She married Henry Niehaus in 1860 and a Louisa Strunk was a witness. Her mother was Anna Maria Berte from Oldeburg, father unknown but from Hanover. I have a newspaper clipping of Anna Maria's death notice. She died at the age of 51, but I don't know what year. I cannot find Frances before the 1870 census. My grandmother told me Frances was from Kentucky and moved a lot while growing up. Frances moved with her daughter to NJ in the early 1900s and is buried there.
