You said that William Strunk and Elizabeth nee Slifer/Schleifer had children born between 1817 and 1840 and that they had a daughter named Elizabeth. Do you happen to know where and when Elizabeth was born? One of my great great grandmothers was born in that time frame and I wonder if there is a connection. It would be great to learn who her parents were.
