I am looking for my Strunk connection. My maternal grandmother is Catherine Anna Strunk Bohnenkamp (1896 - 1992)Her father's name is Frank Strunk (1858 - 1927) I found a gravestone in Gethsemane Cemetary, Fort Madison, Iowa, which lists a Frederich Strunk (1818 - 1899) and Christina Strunk (1822 - 1883)I strongly suspect that these are Frank's parents but have no idea how they came to settle in Lee County, Iowa or where they came from. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
