Mary, Please let me know if you would like me to post the military data for Zina or Fina STANNARD who served from VT in the War of 1812-14. Could he have been related to Libbeus STANNARD? They were not my ancestors. for Vermont military data: STANNARD or STANARD, Lebbeus [this spelling is listed in the index] or Libeus [this spelling is listed on the actual pages]. Libbeus served as a Green Mountain Boy with Ethan Allen [p. 833] as well as in Capt. Brownson's Company, Montreal, Quebec [PQ, QC] on Feb. 26, 1776 [p. 635]. This is from the ROLLS OF VERMONT SOLDIERS IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR 1775-1783, VOL. 1 & 2, 1998. Hope this helps, J. |
