I am researching my father's history, and have been told that he went to America from Ireland, in 1934/35 with, and to work for, a Mr F Stannard, who had a business (?light engineering) in Cleveland, Ohio. I would be very grateful if anyone could identify this Mr Stannard, as it would help confirm the date my father left Ireland. I think he sailed on the 'Franconia' with Mr Stannard from Liverpool. Any information would be gratefully received Karen
