I am experiencing difficulties tracing my Stannard roots. My great-grandmother was Edith Stannard, born 1873 in Surrey. According to the 1881 census, her father was called Soloman Stannard from Framlingham, Suffolk (born 1847)and her mother also called Edith from Foxley Hatch in Surrey(maiden name unknown and born 1852). Does this ring any bells with anyone? I would appreciate it if someone can help. Steven
