In 1882 Nicolas Schmidt arrived in New York on the De Connick coming from Antwerp. He was accompanied by two sons: Christian who was 14 and Adam Edwourd was 10 years. Also with them came his sister in law Helen Schmidt and her two daughters Rosalie and Angeline. They made their way to New Trier, Minnesota. I am looking for any decendants of Christian and Edouard or any info concerning them . Nicolas and his brother Jean Pierre ( Helene's husband) were born in Rosport Luxembourg but were living in Paris at the time of their immigration. Jean Pierre died in Paris and Nicolas died and was buried at St. Mary's New Trier, Mn in 1990. If any one knows of this family, I would be pleased to hear from you. Lorie
