James was the pilot of the Princes Eileen I, a B-29 bomber that crashed 25 Jun 1944 as recorded: "Princess Eileen" 444th BG, went straight in north of Calcutta in bound to Charra from A3 in China. Captain James Schleicher and crew, there were no survivors. Last report 18,000 in thunderstorms Please contact me if you have any info re James and his crew.
