I am one of 5 children. My father is Bobby John Schleicher (1944-1994). His mother was Gloria; she married his father John (Frederick?) Schleicher. We lived in Minnesota close to the Twin Cities. My father passed away in 1994 from a massive heartattack. My mother thinks that heart disease, high blood pressure, etc run on my father's side of the family. My father also denied when we were growing up that we were German. He insisted that we were Norwegian. He never liked to talk about the past, so I never knew much about my family. When he passed on, my mother had told me that we were desendents of General Kurt Von Schleicher. She also said she thinks that my grandfather's father's name might have been Frederick. She thinks that one of Kurt's brothers who fled to America was indeed my grandfather's father. Any information would be great. I am currently trying to find out the names of Kurt Von Schleicher's siblings. Feel free to email me.
