Hello - I am looking for information on Schleichers in TN. I would like to trace the family roots back as far as possible. My father is John Edward Schleicher, Jr., who grew up in Nashville and now lives in Indianapolis, IN. His parents were John E. Schleicher and Dorothy Sowell-Schleicher. I don't know much about the family history, except that I heard that there were two brothers who came from Germany... one was an artist and painted a mural in a courthouse or something in Chicago, I think... the other went south... any leads appreciated!
