I'm looking for information on John M. COOPER b. abt. 1854 Jones Co. , MS. He supposedly discovered what is called now , the Page Field , a gas and oil field in Schleicher Co., Texas , according to an obit written on Bert Page , in the 1966 Standard Times newspaper , but part of the article was cut off so there is no further info available . He may have also ligved in Sutton Co. I would love to find out as much as possible about him . Any help would be appreciated .
