Greetings to the Saldana family around the world! My name is Rafael Poblete Saldana (actually, it is spelled Saldaņa). I was born in the Philippines in a town called Samal, Bataan (approximately, 150 kms west of Manila, the capital of the Philippines). I am currently a professor of mathematics and computing at the Ateneo de Manila University. You are invited to visit my website at http://www.math.admu.edu.ph/~raf I am interested in tracing the history of the Saldana family. In 1997 I went to Spain for a pilgrimage to Santiago, Compostela.
