Hi Weldon, I too am from a line of Ruch's that lived in Gentry Co., MO that came to MO from OH. They came to the US from Alsace, France. I think we may be distant relation. My grand mother, May V.(Valentine) Ruch, daughter of William Thomas Ruch, son of John Thomas Ruch, and his parents were from Alsace-Lorainne, came to USA during the civil war, in the 1860's.
