I am trying to find more information on a ggg grandfather, Michel Ruch, who was born 7 April 1806 in Alsace-Lorraine. I am not sure when he came to the United States. He married Mary D. Long on 11 Aug 1829 in Stark Co., Ohio. A family story says that he came to the United States with a brother. While they were in Philadelphia, PA, they were separated, and Michel never found his brother again. He died in Massillon, Stark Co., Ohio, on 30 Aug 1887.
