The May 2005 issue of ANTIQUES magazine on p. 22 has a portrait in black and white of Martha Custis Peter (1777-1854) by Armistead Peter III (1896-1983). I am scanning this portrait in case any of Ms. Peter's descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the Peter family ought to have it--it is too good to be missed by the family. My email address can be found by clicking on my name above.
