The Peter family of Amherst County VA and their descendants moved on to other parts of the country. My data shows descendants of John Peter, Sr. (b. England, abt. 1700) to have gone to: Clark Co. IN Clinton Co. Mo Harrison Co. IN Harvey Co. KS Jasper Co. IL Jefferson Co. IN Lincoln Co. IN Madison Co. KY Mercer Co. KY Orange Co. IN Polk Co. AR Sangamon Co. IL Spencer Co. IN Sullivan Co. IN Washington Co. IN Washington Co. KY Washington Co. VA I would be interested in hearing from anyone with Peter ancestors who were in any of these counties.
