I'm searching for a connection for Josepha Kistler born ca. 1800 around Reichenburg, canton Schwyz, Switzerland. She married Anton Mettler, the younger, around 1825/26. I'm guess the marriage date because my great great grandfather Anton Mettler was born 09 Dec 1826. He and Waldburga Freuler left Switzerland in 1854, came to America and settled in Knoxville TN. Anton's brothers and one of his sisters followed him to this country and to TN. The following are names of Anton and Joespha Kistler Mettler's children. Anton Mettler b. 09 Dec 1926 Rosa Maria Mettler b. 30 Sep 1836 Alois (Aloys) Mettler b. 02 Oct 1839 Gaudentis Mettler b. 11 Sep 1841 d. 25 Aug. 1855 Josef Fridolin Mettler(Also known as Fritz) b. 04 July 1843 Maria Catharina Mettler b. 04 July 1846 Mettler (The only one who did not come to America.) Does anyone recognize any of these given names which might be connected to Josepha's Kistler family? Bob
