My Ebert line is from southern Germany. I don't have much information; I just started researching. My G-G-Grandfather was Carl L. Ebert born in Germany and died in Philadelphia. He had a brother, Louis, and an older stepbrother, Johann (I think) who came to America first. Carl and Louis then joined him.
