Hi Louise, I can answer the questions you asked. All the information you have is correct. According to the 1900 cenus the Ebert's immigrated in 1889. Gus was just a young Lad at the time. Gustave is the son of August and Louisa Dorthea Erdmann. His other siblings are: Fredrick (1869) August (1872), Herman (1874), then Gustav (1879) Louisa (1881). According to the 1900 census, there were six living children of August and Louisa, and my grandfather agreed with this. However, we have only found documented information on these five. No one has been able to trace the line back any further than this. I can put you in touch with a decendent of Louisa (daughter of August) if you would like. He has the most up to date documentation of our family. I am through August's son Gustav. His son Gustave Harvey was my grandfaher. Dori
