While at the library copying obits for someone, I managed to get a copy of the following obit. I am in no way related to this person, but wanted to post the obit in case it is helpful to someone. Lowell Sun Lowell MA January 14, 1952 NELLIE A. CARRIGAN Miss Nellie A. Carrigan, a well known resident of this city, died unexpectedly at her home, 25 Butterfield street, late Saturday evening. She was born in this city, the daughter of the late Michael and Ellen (McDonald) Carrigan. She was a devout attendant of St. Patrick's churcha nd was one of the oldest members of the Blessed Virgin sodality of the parish. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
