I would like information on Patrick (or Padraic) Carrigan who supposedly came from County Mayo, Ireland to NY. He was widowed with a young daughter, Helen. When Helen was 14, he married 38 year old Josephine (Unknown surname) She was a servant who was trained to be a cook...and was working in the kitchen. She had 2 children..Joan Elizabeth (16 years younger than Helen) and Patrick. Patrick became a policeman. Joan married Frank (Francis Owen Nugent). Frank came from Coddington New York and was a career officer in the Army. I would greatly appreciate contact with a family member who can tell us a little bit about the family history.
