Marie, there is a George B. CALVERT in Boyle Co KY in 1850 on pg 322 there is an Addison PARKS in Boyle Co KY in 1850 pg 323 there is a William J. GRAY in Boyle Co KY in 1850 pg 323 I think this William J. might be the father of Addison Parks Calvert's 1st and second wife (sisters), since Addison and his second wife named a son William J. Calvert. Just a hunch. I will have copies of the 1850 census records for above available for you to see when you get here. Also, I have found a lot of information on the CALVERT's in Maryland and some of this line goes to KY. Too numerous to mention here, but one name out of this lined that was in KY was Basil/Basel CALVERT, who is in Mason Co KY in 1850. ALLISON CALVERT is also mentioned, and he married a Bramel woman. I had thought that perhaps Allison should of been Addison, so the census taker spelled it that way, but this is NOT the case. Addison is Addison and Allison is Allison CALVERT. Now that I see that Addison's middle name was BERNARD, I am now not wondering if George B isn't a BERNARD - George BERNARD CALVERT and if this isn't the f/o Addison. George B. could of married a d/o Addison Parks, which would make your Calvert/Parks marriage, hence Addison Parks Calvert. Just a theory. I love a good mystery! Does anyone have the children of George B. CALVERT, or who he married? Help!! Marie, yahoo is having trouble at two of my libraries; something about the filtering system, so I could have trouble getting back to you at some point in time. If you see this on Super Bowl Sunday, call me when you get here, or in route, and I will meet you at Grapevine Library for a few hours. |
