Barb, Regarding more information on John Bloss. I cannot locate where he is buried, or who took care of his funeral, it is not listed on his death certificate. I thought Margaret & Elizabethe might be the same person. I have tried to find a death certificate on Margaret/Elizabeth no luck. I thought maybe she moved back to Maryland with some of her children. In 1896 John & his son Wm. were in the bakery business in Springfield. John died at Alms House in Sangamon County, the book went to the year 1905, and John died in 1906. I am trying to locate more of the Alms House records, they do exist. Keep in touch.
