According to the PA State Archives card file Conrad Bloss was listed as "Active Duty - Line" (I think George, Daniel and Henry are all listed as Militia) This is the only documentation I know of for his service record. Most of the men in this 'flying camp' under Nicholas Kern are believed to have perished in battle at Long Island on Aug 27 1776. Do you have any other information of his military service? As I said in another post, I do not discount the possibility that the elder Conrad was the one discussed here. I'd just like to know if any other record can show this conclusively.
