The Conrad that was married to Elizabeth Bittenbender was the grandson of Johann Conrad Bloss and Anna Magdalena (Reber) from Heidelberg Twp,Lehigh/Northampton PA. There son Conrad (II) and wife Susanna ? went first to Carbon County then on to Luzerne approx 1807. Conrad (III)was born 5 FEB 1796. What info do you have to confirm that Elizabeth married Henry Smethers? I made this connection a while ago, when I found them together in the Salem,Luzerne 1850 census and her last name is given as Smethers.
