Yes. William Carrigan left a will. It is in the county records. He names his children in it. My problem is his daughter didn't and I am looking for documentation to link Margaret Carrigan to her son, James Adam Weir, so I can join the SAR.
Margaret married James Weir. After James, her husband, died, she moved to Arkansas to live with another son, William C. Weir, until her death in 1865. I have visited the grave of Wm C. Weir and his wife Christina (Rumple). I have a suspicion that Margaret is buried there too, but the grave is marked with a plain field stone. The church there says they do not have a register of who is buried in their graveyard. So I have reached a dead end for the time being.
