Sorry for the passing of Bud Carrigan. I am a descendant of Bud Carrigans Grandparents and would like to extend my condolences. I believe I met Bud when I was a child and remember hearing my mother mention his name on occasion.
I am looking for genealogical information for Bud Carrigans Grandparents, Maurice Carrigan and Mary Flanery.
My Grandmother, Ceilia Johnson, deceased 1936, was the youngest child of Maurice and Mary. I am Karen McAdams of Mountain View Ca., third child of Mary Aileen Johnson Barden, deceased 2006, the second child of Ceilia Carrigan Johnson and Ray Johnson.
I am looking for information such as where in Ireland did Maurice and Mary immigrate from and the names, ages, birthplaces of the children with whom they immigrated. I would also like to know where they were married and if copies of their marriage certificate are attainable. As well I would like to know when and where they died and are buried.
I assume that Edward, Buds father, immigrated from Ireland with his Maurice and Mary too and would as well be interested in knowing where he was born and his birth and death dates. As well as for any of the siblings of Edward if that information is available to you.
I hope this request is not inconvenient and would be happy if needed to provide more details about my relation to Bud Carrigan.
I found the article of Bud at the WWII Illinois veterans Memorial Blog with a picture of Bud and Teri at their wedding and appreciate your sharing this history.
