Updating my own posting: from the 1910 Seattle Census, John J. Carrigan, my great-grandfather, listed himself as being a miner, born in Ireland in 1860. This contradicts information on his death certificate that his son or wife must have given, that he was born 1851 in Pennsylvania. His father Joseph was born in Ireland, per death certificate. John's wife I think was named Mary Clark from Arkansas. I'm still searching for the Irish cross-overlink and for any relatives of John's in America or Ireland. Hope some of you are my cousins, Thanks, Lynn
