Correction: Meshack Carpenter married Elizabeth Colston, Sarah Mills living with them. No stated relationship

Meshack married Rachel, she was a widow of Demarcus Owens whom she married in 1851. The only child on the 1850 census that was Meshacks' was William.

Meshack's 3rd wife was Mary Patrick
