Don't I know it!!!
I always refer to them as the 'Cursed' cursive L ans S.
I did know about the Madison marriage but he is another one that so far is extremely elusive.
I can't help but wonder if Madison and Lucinda were sibs.
My gut feeling is that they both belong to the Bond/Fayette/Madison Counties Illinois group.
Just can't tie them in yet.
