Does anyone have any info on Joseph Carpenter & Esther Knight? He was born 4/2/1756 in Cranston, Rhode Island, Died: 6/14/1842. Married Esther Abt. 1780. She was born: 1756 or 1764 in S. Scituate, Rhode Island, she died: 12/30/1825 S. Scituate, Rhode Island. They had the following children: Joseph B: 9/24/1790 Scituate, RI, d: 8/2/1884 Scott Township, Pennsylvania, Amos B: 3/12/1783 Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, Mary B: 1785, Sally B: Abt. 1786, Wheaton B: 1788, Charles B: 1/14/1792 Scituate, RI, Henry B: Abt. 1793, Ruth B: 8/14/1796, Cynthia B: 1/6/1799, Betsey B: 8/25/1800, and Nicholas B: Abt. 1805. Joseph Sr. had land in 1789 in S. Scituate, RI, he bought 1/3 of the farm of his father-in-law William Knight. If anyone knows anything else on this family, please contact me.
