Robert "Bob" Carpenter
SHREVEPORT, LA - A memorial service to honor the life of Robert "Bob" Carpenter, 52, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Ted Hardin of Oakcrest Christian Church, where Bob was a member. Inurnment will be in Silver Lake Cemetery, Silver Lake, TX.
Bob entered into rest on Thursday, September 10, 2009, at his residence following a sudden illness. He was born June 12, 1957, and was a native of Shreveport. Bob was known as "Uncle Bob" by his Shreveport Fire Fighter family and he loved each and every one of them.
He was preceded in death by his father, John C. Carpenter. Survivors include his mother, Geraldine Carpenter; brothers, John R. Carpenter of Euless, TX, and Tommy Carpenter of Shreveport; sister, Diane Cason of Lake Jacksonville, TX; and adopted brother, Buddy Bullard.
