Castles associated with Calverts

I have not seen mention of Kiplin Hall, Bolton castle or Herstmonceux castle in any of the chats. Pictures of same are available on line. George Calvert,1st Baron Baltimore's grandmother was Dorthy Leonard. She was born at Herstmonceux castle and married there, she died at Bolton Castle. Mary, Queen of Scots was imprisioned there before being moved to London. Bolton is in disrepair. Herstmonceux and moat is The International Study Center for Queen's University of Canada. Kiplin Hall was George Calvert's home in York and maintained and used for study by the U. of Maryland USA as I recall. The pics on line add color to our print. I have found "Decendants of Virginia Calverts," compiled by Ella Foy O'Gorman and published in 1947, very helpful. Regards to each one. Sj
