We are looking for a female descendant of NANCY LEATHERWOOD CALVERT (b.abt. 1758 VA; d. 1822 KY, wife of Spencer Calvert and an elder daughter of ZACHARIAH LEATHERWOOD. This woman would have a direct female line of descent and would be willing to take a DNA test. We are hoping that a MtDNA test might finally put to rest the controversy over the number of wives that Zachariah had. A direct female line descendant of documented wife Mary Stone is being tested
