Calvert Family Genealogy Forum

I would like to be in touch with you by e-mail but for now, the farthest back I have is Thomas and Dinah and would really like to have the information about his father. Richard was the brother of my immigrant Calvert ancestor, John, so although that's several generations ago, we would qualify as distant cousins. I'm willing to share anything I have on Richard and John and their families.
I'll have to check into the Calvert website. It doesn't ring a bell but perhaps I've been there and forgot about it. The Bodge connection by way of Scottow and Symmes, is linked to my late husband's Libby family of Maine. It is this particular twist that has me doubly interested in Richard, since a spouse of his Libby great grandfather was born in and/or raised in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. There could be more links between those families.
But first things first - getting our Calverts together. I'm also trying to figure out whether it was Thorney or Shelton. I had been under the impression that is was Thorney Parish in Nottingham city. But since then, I've wondered if its location could have been Thorney (Thornton?) or Shelton, both towns or villages east of Nottingham.
