So would you say that we don't know for positive sure that Richard Butt's daughter, Dinah, is the same one who married into your Green family?

We do know that Dinah Butt m. Mr. Darke because she is mentioned as such in her father's will. But what, if anything, do we know about Mr. Darke? When did he die and where? Is it reasonable to think that the widow, Dinah (Butt) Darke, married William Green? Is there a marriage record?????

I am sure that Robert Green did the best he could when writing the GREEN TREE, but he could have been in error, here.

William & Dinah Green had a daughter, Sarah, who m. Richard Butt. . . . . . who was Richard Butt. Do you know who his parents were?
