Nancy L. Blose, 84
Nancy Livesay Blose, 84, a resident at Sunnyside in
Harrisonburg, Va., went to be with her Lord on May 12,
2007.
She was born on Nov. 26, 1922, in Wakefield, Va., and
was the daughter of the late Lillian Robertson Carter.
She was married on Sept. 7, 1941, to William Anderson
Blose and he preceded her in death in June of 1961.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie
Edwards.
She will be greatly missed by her family and is
survived by her three daughters and their families:
Elizabeth B. and Avery Dunn of Winston-Salem, N.C.;
Nancy B. and Marc Davis of Port Republic, Va. and
their children, Hunter Davis and Jan Arnold, Kelly and
Matthew Richardson, and Elizabeth Lee Davis; and
Carter B. and Terry Jones of Dinwiddie, Va. and their
children, Scot and his fiancée, Chrystal Russell and
Ryan Jones. She will also be dearly missed by her four
great-grandchildren, Logan and the twins, Kelsey and
Ian Davis and Grace Carter Jones.
She and her husband owned and operated a John Deere
Dealership and raised their family in Emporia, Va.
After her husband’s death, she moved to Harrisonburg,
Va., where she was a graduate of Madison College and
worked for Kline Realty for many years. She was an
active member of Massanutten Presbyterian Church,
where she served as an elder and circle leader. She
also volunteered many hours at Sunnyside Retirement
Community.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on
Sunday, May 27, 2007, at Massanutten Presbyterian
Church.

Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
