I was pointed to this discussion by my cousin, and was very grateful. I am a Blose descendant and also had what may have been the wrong information. I recently started to research the Daubenspeck family, assuming there was a connection. I have put that all on hold. The Daubenspecks I wrote to, cited a book as a source of their information: The John Jacob Daubenspeck Family History and Lineage 1714 to 1961 by Nellie King Daubenspeck Publication: Avalon, Pittsburgh, PA, FHL microfilm # 6011865, 1961 Repository: Call Number: Media: Microfiche Since this looks like a historical view written by a Daubenspeck, they may also have this wrong. I will have to see if I can find a copy of this microfiche or book... I would like to uncover the truth and for now have dropped my Daubenspeck search. Sponsors are usually the namesake for which a child is named (during that time period) as I am finding in my search for Guth family members. As I have no data on Anna M. I will start to broaden my search hoping to also find the truth. I am willing to chat with anyone about the Blose info. I have down my branch. Rachel Maria married John B. Neal and this follows down to me...Elizabeth Doutt Fischer Thanks Notify Administrator about this message?
