Hi Keith,

Thank you for your response. This is all so very interesting to me. My mother gave me all of this paperwork nearly six years ago and although I read it through and was amazed at the work my great aunt did, I never really digested it. Only now I am starting to really read it.
Here is what she writes regarding our line to Conrad:
"I am the daughter of Samuel Fridley born in 1872 and his first wife Jennie Kilmer. The said Samuel Fridley was the child of Harrison Fridley and his wife Caroline Blose. The said Carloine Blose was the child of John Blose and his wife Hannah Heilman. The said John Blose was the child of Michael Blose and his wife Sara Waugaman. The said Michael Blose was the child of Daniel Blose and his first wife Elizabeth Sarah Brazil. The said Daniel Blose was the child of Conrad Blose.

Would this mean that I am through Daniel...but .. I do not understand the 'thread'. Please forgive me, as I mentioned, this is a bit like learning another language for me.

I may have mistyped when I mentioned the children of Conrad. I had meant to point out that they were born to Conrad II, and born after the year identified as possibly his or his fathers death. So, I was wondering how this would fit into the theory that he died in the battle. But, as you mention, you were not able to find evidence of his death.
You have done so much work with your research! I can see that it is a true passion. I have much more here that may be of interest, if even just to compare notes. She does have full dates for his children and they are as follows:
Anna Marie 3-27-1791
Maria Barbara 2-4-1793
Jacob 7-13-1794
Conrad 2-5-1796
After this information, she has written Lehigh Co., but she lists nothing else for the source

I will look through the rest of the files to see if I can find a birthdate for Conrad II.

Keith, thanks again for the correspondances. Look forward to learning more.

Steffie
