Carl,
I'm in Red Lion, PA - York County. You? I was at the cem and surrounding area about a month ago. I don't think I've seen all of the works you named. I am familiar with the one by Clinton Bloss, and I have a couple other copies of parts of histories and genealogies with no author credited. Every one that addresses the Rev War issue gives credit to Conrad 'Constable of Heidelburg' as the one in the war, but I have not found any that prove it. I have not tried DAR directly, but was recently contacted by someone who is familiar with what they have. I have not seen the proof yet, but they did approve someone as a descendant of Conrad (father of John George). I hope to have more info on that application soon.
You mention Conrad 'Jr' moving to Carbon. Do you have proof that this was the son of Conrad? Or, could this have been the son of his brother Peter? This is one of the alternate possibilities I mentioned in my first post. This is especially important to me since this is my line (through Conrad III).
Keith
