Looking for info on Christianna Bedford born abt. 1830 in North Carolina. She appears on the 1850 Greenville, Pitt Co. census with family Noah, Sarah, Hannah and Sarah Bedford. I'm assuming parents and sisters. In Mar 1864 she married James Seamster in Wayne Co., NC. On the 1870 census she is in Wake Forst, Wake Co., NC with husband James Seamster, and children Willie age 5 and Inez age 2.
In 1880 James appears in Pitt Co. and he has married Fanian Braxton in 1878. He has his child William with him but Christianna and Inez have either died or he left them. Family says he would never talk about who or what ever happened to Willie's mother.
Any one have any ideas.
