Seeking information on James Bedford b. ca 1838 TN. He was likely the son of Frank(y) Bedford who came to TN from VA and then on to MO by 1860. James most likely had a sister named Ann. James married Martha Wood, daughter of John and Cynthia Wood, in Taney Co MO ca 1859. They had a son named James (or John) W. P. Bedford, born in Taney Co MO ca 1862/3. In 1870, Martha Bedford and her son are living with her mother in Boone Co AR. In 1880, the son is living with his uncle, John Wood, in Taney Co MO. I am trying to ascertain what happened to James and Martha Bedford. James may have been killed in the Civil War?? Perhaps Martha remarried or died in AR ca 1870's?? Any information appreciated.
